Whether as principle fronting private equity; being exclusively mandated though our backers by institutional equity; or acting for independent clients, The Ground Rent Firm aggregated large portfolios or increased the size of existing ground rents portfolios, with reasonable and responsible ground rents.
Freeholds around the UK were acquired and this has more recently led to the birth of The Block Firm which is today acquiring blocks of flats; estates of houses; and bulk purchases of leasehold flats for a range of clients with a variety of different acquisition criteria.
We are still acquiring residential ground rents. In most cases these days, these are acquisitions for long standing clients rather than acquiring as principals.
